Teags in the king of mischief, he is always into something. Known to trash the kitchen our bathroom and playroom in a matter of minutes with no remorse, or the skills to clean it up. On the flipside he does like to empty the dishwasher and put things where he wants them to be.

Happy Birthday Langdon

Wednesday Feb. 3 Langdon turned 4, that is so hard to believe. Time actually does fly by, and he is the proof. On his special day I took the opportunity to do something I said I would do forever. I spent the whole day with Langdon and we had a blast. Langdon watched super hero dvds we played at the arcade 2 rounds of miniature golf, lunch in a restaurant containing bread and smoothies, a large sucker lots of cookies, a dinner of peanut butter and jelly always his request and no nap for the day. He was such a joy and a trooper, he wore me out. Favorite line of the day, I can't go nite nite at home. I also will take a page from some of my fellow bloggers who truly are the best at blogging and share the qualities that make up Langdon.

11.Loves to take long car rides because it is an unlimited time in front of the dvd player

12. Not a swimming pool fan and forget anything motorized he is not gonna ride it.

There is so much to him he has brought so much joy to our lives and we are so excited for the future and what it holds for him. Happy Birthday Langdon you are such a blessing.

Finally after along awaited time we are back to blog land. Where have we been, like everyone else we have been very busy.... Most importantly santa brought Evan and I a new apple computer that I was not smart enough to figure out how to retrieve pics for the blog.. I could have blogged numerous times but with out pics can get kind of tedious to read. We were fortunate to stay home for all holidays this year and Chateau Morris has not had many vacancies. Within the span of a month and a half Langdon and Teagan were able to see all their grandparents except Harry who we will see in a month. Evans dad and Madeline came just before Thanksgiving, my parents were here for christmas and Arlene came for new years. It was awesome having everyone here to see the new house and spend time with us. Christmas was great, Langdon really had a blast this year and santa loaded him up with lots of superheros and handy manny stuff. Teags was also very spirited and wanted to play with everything right then and there. He received lots of toys that play music and car stuff. Enjoy the pics it will be a random collection of all the holidays as I try to get back on track and keep up.

This past weekend we went with the Nowlin family to the Pumpkin Patch and had such a great time. Langdon really enjoyed himself and got to do all kinds of fun stuff. I think his favorite was Pumpkin ball, as you can see he was really into it. He loved climbing in the hay and was a big fan of the corn maze.. Who knew you could have so much fun on a chilly sunday afternoon. Teags of course was a quiet observer but will probally really enjoy it next year.

Brotherly Love and the keys to the candy store

Teagan is really coming into his own and is enjoying spending time with Langdon. They are finally starting to play very well together and enjoy each others company, I guess the fights are next. One day while Langdon was still napping Teags was already awake so he wandered to the coffee table only to find Langdons black bag of nascars. Now you guys know Langdon is obsessed with nascar and nobody touches the cars but him, he won't even share with his parents. This was like the title says "giving Teags the keys to the candy store." He knew he had forbidden fruit when he found those cars and the pics tell the story. That kid was so excited with the most devious smile on his face and had the best time playing with those cars. It of course ended abruptly when Langdon woke up and saw what was going on. For 20 short minutes Teags was in heaven and I loved watching it all go down.

Head Bangers and Haircuts

This is what happens when you are standing and learning to walk. Unfortunately Teags was trying to stand up on the patio and slipped "Ouch" after a thump and lots of crying this is what we have as a memory. God Bless Him you hate to see a child hurt like that. He did recover well but has hit his head several times since on a much smaller scale. Now just where did I put Langdons spider man helmet???As for Langdon after numerous discussions with Evan we decided to officially end the reign of the bowl cut. Initially I said I would let it go when Langdon turned 4 but after a number of bad haircuts we decided it was time. Thanks to a great friend we have found a new place for haircuts. Apparently barbers are the way to go, they just are much better accustomed to cutting boys hair. So these are pics of Langdons new do and I really like it and it is growing on Evan. Langdon is unbiased and I am proud of myself for letting go without much struggle. I like to call it turning a chapter in his young life onto boyhood.

The boys were under the weather the last couple of weeks but as you can see happy days are here again. A couple of weeks ago Langdon bit his tongue which turned into a viral infection in his mouth. So our picky eater was eating even less. Then last weekend Teags had double ear infections that allowed us to spend the weekend trying to coral a screaming baby, along with Langdon having a bit of a stomach bug. There is nothing I like more than spending my days off in the Peds office. Thankfully this past week we were back to normal. Our big news is that Langdon got his first bike and I am so excited that he actually got on and rode it. Normally this wouldn't be breaking news but those who know him understand that he is not a risk taker he is way more timid in uncharted territory. By no surprise putting on the brakes is what he mastered first. As for Teags the happiest place on earth for him is his highchair, the boy plain loves to eat. As for walking no milestones yet but he does stand up in one place for awhile and will walk with the walker until he runs it into the wall and gets mad because he can't go anymore. Teags has a tricycle on order that I know he will love. Enjoy the pics
