Statements put to rest!!!!!!

I saw this website a long while ago on several of my friends blogs and always wanted to try it but we didn't have good pics of all of us until now. Evan was against it at first because he knows everyone says his children don't look like him. But the results were better than predicted as you can see Langdon doesn't look soooo much like me according to the meter, and I just knew Teagan would be slanted to Evans side but not so much. Teagan looks very similar to Evans baby pictures. Anyway it was fun to find out.

Here are the Santa pics, I also included some houses we saw that are part of the Richmond Tacky Light tour. Enjoy

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone, we are still here just as usual busy like everyone else. We really enjoyed the season this year, it is really exciting for us to be raising 2 sweet little boys. Langdon had so much for on Christmas I think he finally finished opening some presents on Saturday. Try and explain to a 2 year old to open and keep moving, he justs wants to play with what is open at that moment. Not to mention also being interested in Teagans new toys as well. Can you say system overload? I think the moral of this Christmas for our family was excited but cautious, that is how Langdon was with Santa. It was how we felt about Langdon and our Christmas Tree and also how Langdon felt about Christmas morning when his parents tried to make a non morning person fired up about Santa gifts. I am thankful Teagan was there as a watchful observer, maybe he can teach Langdon whats up next year.

After numerous attempts to get a pic of Langdon with Santa we finally settled for one with Langdon standing near him and we exposed Santa to the next best thing, a Langdon fist bump. So all in all we feel like for this year that was a success.

In Teagans world life is good, he is mostly sitting up on the floor by himself he is eating some veggies and is growing so fast. He is the sweetest happy baby boy do I feel blessed. Teagan is having his circumsion next wednesday so I look forward to putting that chapter of his young life away. Please pray for us on Wednesday Jan. 7 as I will be a very worried and anxious mother and I am the strong one of the parents.

The last bit of news I will include and it is big is that we are moving. Our prayers of 8 years have finally been answered on Gods terms of course. Evan has accepted a position with his current company in Bentonville Arkansas. The house will go on the market in the next few weeks so when it sells, off we will go. As you can imagine we are very busy getting this place ready to sell hopefully quickly, once again pray for us. Enjoy the pics from this holiday season.

Family photos taken during Thanksgiving

It's the most wonderful time of the year!!!!!

It is a wonderful time of year, somewhat exhausting but so much fun. What could be better than watching an almost 3 year old try to grasp the extent of christmas. Langdon has discovered presents but when in the world can he open them. He asks regularly if he and Teagan can open presents. Santa around our house is known as Ho Ho and he would be more than happy to let Ho Ho know that he wants Jimmy Johnson and Football but not to the length of sitting on Ho Ho's lap to do so. I have come to the conclusion that if it is going to happen it will be a process. We waved at Santa at the mall when he wasn't looking but that is it. Our next attempt will be breakfast with Santa this weekend and if all goes pretty well, we will attempt sitting on his lap at another location. Will we stress about it absolutely not, we didn't get a picture last year and probally won't this year which to me is pretty funny. It has been a lot of fun to see all the lights while driving in the car and read christmas stories including the real reason we celebrate. I feel so blessed that God has given me 2 sweet little boys to raise and train to be great men, and Christmas is such a special time to be reminded of that.

Teagan is growing so fast and doing so much. He loves to watch and try to grab anything he can get his hands on. He is just about sitting on his own on the floor and is moving all around in his crib. Did I mention the boy loves to sleep, he refuses to be rocked just wants you to put him in his bed and be left alone. Can you imagine. Enjoy the pics the first one pretty much sums up this time of year and how exhausting it is for everyone. Enjoy

Finally back to blogville, boy it has been awhile. I like everyone else have been so busy and just got back on Monday from a Thanksgiving trip home. We had such a good time and the trip went so fast. Because gas is so cheap we decided to drive back home to Mississippi and Alabama which is 14 hours for us but we split up the drive into 2 days and the boys did excellent. We were so blessed and thankful to not encounter any real traffic and any other problems while driving with 2 small kids. It was so wonderful to get to spend time with our family and finally get so show off Teagan. Langdon got some much needed time with Grandparents and loved playing with his Cousins and friends. It was so great to see everyone we miss family and friends terribly by living so far away. Even though we love to be back at home I guess eventually you have to get back to the daily grind so we are back and getting ready for Christmas. Thanks to everyone for your entertainment and fellowship we had a blast . Here are some pics from the trip. Also one last note we had our pictures done by our dear sweet friend Jennifer so if you would like to see them go to http://www.jennifernicholson.smugmug.com/ and see all the neat work she does.
